By 2027, the global kitchenware market is expected to grow to $77 billion USD. To capitalize on this opportunity, the client desired a minimalist, quick-measuring tool that could be mounted on various ingredient jars.

I designed and rapidly prototyped a dispenser. The part count was reduced from 5 to 2 using DFM / DFA principles and was optimized for injection molding. It also had sustainable material reuse through iterative FDM testing for ergonomic reliability.

The final product was an intuitive spice dispenser with interchangeable measurement settings and haptic feedback. It showcased innovative, sustainable and customer-focused design. The solution exceeded client expectations and secured a patent.
